# NT Survey: Critical Analysis

## 1. Canonization & Textual Criticism
- **Formation:** Athanasius's Festal Letter (367 AD) first list of 27 books. Criteria: Apostolicity, Orthodoxy, Catholicity.
- **MSS Traditions:** Alexandrian (Neutral), Western (D), Byzantine (Majority). 
- **Critique:** Use *Nestle-Aland 28* for critical text. Application of *Lectio difficilior potior* (the more difficult reading is more likely).

## 2. Synoptic Problem & Q-Hypothesis
- **Two-Source Theory:** Markan Priority + Q (Quelle) as the hypothetical source for Mt/Lk commonalities.
